NOVEMBER REAL ESTATE NEWS | EAGLE COUNTY
A More Balanced Market
November is a time of transition in many ways. Although we have had a warmer and drier fall, we know the snow is coming, and with that, transitions from bikes, golf, and hiking to skis, snowboards, and snowshoes. It is also a transition time in our real estate market as we welcome guests to the resorts, and activity picks up during the holidays, while our local market takes a breather before the spring market shows more activity.
Compared to a year ago, available homes for sale are up approximately 37% - the highest at this time of year in 6 years! This is good news for home buyers as more options are available and represents a more balanced market than in years past. Current pending sales are about the same as last year, while closings are down 6% and dollar volume is up .5%.
Whether you will be in the valley for the holidays and the start of our winter season or plan to come later, wishing you a fun and memorable holiday season! If you have any questions about the market or specific area of interest, please reach out anytime! I’d love to connect with you!
